Daftar British Standards adalah daftar kategori judul dari standar-standar yang diterbitkan oleh Badan Standardisasi Nasional negara Inggris yaitu BSI Group.
Sekilas British Standards
BSI (British Standards Institution) adalah badan standar nasional Inggris, yang menerbitkan standar teknis untuk berbagai produk dan layanan, melayani sertifikasi dan layanan standar untuk bisnis.
BSI menerbitkan British Standards dengan ruang lingkup untuk segala bidang kehidupan di dunia.
British Standards adalah standar yang diterbitkan oleh organisasi BSI, yang secara formal ditunjuk sebagai badan standardisasi nasional untuk Inggris Raya.
Secara spesifik, British Standards (BS) diterbitkan oleh suatu divisi didalam BSI Group yang bernama BSI British Standards.
Setiap ada standar baru yang terbit atau update, maka BSI juga harus menarik standar yang sudah ada atau revisi sebelumnya sehingga tidak menimbulkan konflik.

Format British Standars
Salah satu tugas utama dari BSI adalah membuat dan menerbitkan British Standards, penamaan standar ini diawali dengan “BS”.
Pemberian judul standar ini dilakukan dengan mengikuti suatu format yaitu : British Standard XXXX[-P]:YYYY.
Cara membaca format tersebut adalah :
- XXXX adalah nomor standar,
- P adalah jumlah bagian dari standar, di mana standar dibagi menjadi beberapa bagian,
- YYYY adalah tahun di mana standar mulai berlaku.
Contoh : BS 5306-8:2012: Fire extinguishing installations and equipment on premises
Maka standar pada contoh tersebut dibaca :
- BS = British Standard
- 5306 = nomor standar
- -8 = standar dibagi menjadi 8 bagian
- 2012 = tahun 2012 adalah standar mulai berlaku
