Daftar Standar ISA adalah kumpulan judul standar mengenai otomatisasi industri dari organisasi International Society of Automation.

Sekilas Organisasi ISA

International Society of Automation (ISA) adalah asosiasi profesional nirlaba yang didirikan pada tahun 1945 untuk menciptakan dunia yang lebih baik melalui otomatisasi.

ISA ditujukan bagi setiap orang yang bekerja, belajar, atau tertarik pada otomatisasi dan kegiatan yang terkait dengannya seperti instrumentasi seperti :

  • insinyur,
  • teknisi,
  • pelaku bisnis,
  • pendidik,
  • dan siswa.

ISA memajukan kompetensi teknis dengan menghubungkan komunitas otomatisasi untuk mencapai keunggulan operasional.

Organisasi mengembangkan :

  • standar global yang digunakan secara luas;
  • sertifikasi profesional industri;
  • memberikan pendidikan dan pelatihan;
  • menerbitkan buku dan artikel teknis;
  • menyelenggarakan konferensi dan pameran;
  • dan menyediakan program pengembangan jaringan dan karir untuk anggota dan pelanggannya di seluruh dunia.

Pada awalnya, organisasi ini bernama Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation Society.

Kemudian dikenal sebagai Instrument Society of America, namun populer dengan akronim nya yakni ISA dengan ruang lingkup saat ini yang mencakup banyak disiplin ilmu teknik dan rekayasa.

ISA adalah salah satu organisasi profesional terkemuka di dunia yang menetapkan standar dan mendidik profesional industri dalam otomatisasi.

Beberapa teknologi utama yang terlibat dalam hampir semua manufaktur industri adalah 2 bidang ilmu berikut :

  • Instrumentation : Instrumentasi,
  • Automation : otomatisasi.

Berbagai sistem yang melakukan interaksi secara kompleks membentuk suatu manufaktur industri modern.

Fungsi dari Instrumentasi adalah menyediakan regulasi untuk sistem yang kompleks tersebut, menggunakan berbagai jenis perangkat pengukuran dan kontrol.

Sedangkan fungsi dari Otomasi adalah menyediakan perangkat yang dapat diprogram yang memungkinkan peningkatan fleksibilitas dalam operasi sistem manufaktur yang kompleks tersebut.
